Pick up from Airport/ Railway station at Guwahati and drive straight to Tezpur (200kms/04hrs) and upon arrival, check into a hotel for refreshment. After Lunch go to
Bhairavi Mandir, Agnigarh and Coal Park. Overnight’s stay in the hotel.
After breakfast start journey from Tezpur to Kaziranga. Check into resort and after lunch go to Missing village to see lifestyle of Missing tribes. After that go to nearby tea estate and see plantation of tea and production of tea. Overnight halt.
After break fast go inside Kaziranga national park for jeep safari if weather permits. After coming out of park proceed to Sivasagar. Lunch enroute. In Sivasagar one can feel the glorious monuments and builts of Ahom Dynasty who ruled in Assam for six hundred years. Overnight halt at Kaziranga.
Early morning come back to Guwahati. Breakfast enroute. Check into hotel for a little leisure. Post lunch go for Guwahati city ride. Evening river cruise at mighty Brahmaputra. Dinner on cruise itself. Overnight halt.
Early Morning proceed to the most famous temple of Maa Kamakhya at the top of Nilachal hillock. After darshan of the Goddess have breakfast and proceed back to hotel for check out for onward transfer to Airport / Railway station.
Receive from Guwahati Airport and proceed to Jorhat. Check into Mou Chapori for refreshment. As the darkness descends on the glittering surface of the mighty Brahmaputra, the mystery of the mighty river starts unfolding itself. Just be there and listen to the sounds of silence and enjoy the beauty of nature and relax and have dinner before going to bed.
Proceed for the world’s biggest inhabited river island Majuli by River Cruise and visit the Satras (Vaishnava Monasteries), revered as SANKARDEVA, the
16 th century leader of Vaishnava revivalism who established the Satras. The Island is also the home to MISSING tribes migrated from Arunachal Pradesh. They make astoundingly beautiful shawls and blankets which are used for wall hangings. While proceeding back to hotel, have lunch in the floating restaurant (on Boat). Check out from Mou Chapori and proceed back to Guwahati. Check into the hotel at Guwahati for overnight’s stay.
Check out from hotel proceed Srimanta Shankaradev Kalakshetra to have a glimpse of entire North East (if time permits) and then return back to Guwahati Airport.
